Fantastic food great service

Three of us dined at the Urban Dish this past week. One order of ribs and frites was a hit unfortunately, I participated in one of the two dinner orders of pickerel, risotto and asparagus. The asparagus was cooked perfectly, but the pickerel was oily and unappetizingly sweet, and the risotto was a molded, dry, rice-like substance, definitely unlike any risotto I have ever tasted. I would normally have sent back meals of this quality, but didn't want to spoil the mood of the evening.

Great looking Guys sitting at the very nice Bar. Women should go just for that.

very exspensive , nothing new here , most of what we ate can be brought at Costco, service good , food nothing great , I would recommend charge $10=00 less per main plate and you will get people back

Love having a neigborhood resto with great quality food and atmosphere, but the wine price are 3 times what you would pay at the LCBO. They should also be aware of the fact that Chilaen Sea Bass is on the endagered species list and should be taken off the menue.

Great waitress. Fun, casual setting with delicious food. Loved the salmon and risotto. Chicken supreme was also a winner.

An absolute wonderful eating experience! The atmosphere, was welcoming, and the staff very tentive. We've returned many times. We were also so impressed with each visit we've booked my son's wedding rehersal dinner there...

We went to several restaurants for Barrielicious and we were very anxious to try this one because of the great things we heard. What a letdown....all of the food including the salad was bland....portions exteremly small and we will not return. Spend your money elsewhere.

Hats off to Marc, Sabrina and the wonderful attentive staff! I have dined many times at Urban Dish, usually with different friends each time so that I can introduce them to one of the best restaurants ever! No one has been disappointed! The striploin with fresh woodland mushrooms and garlic chive mashed potatoes is to die for! I've also had the Supreme Chicken, tenderloin and various other things. They've all been delicious! The staff are superb, and Marc makes your visit special by a quick chat at your table.

Amazing restaurant! The decor is very nice, the atmosphere is great and the food is amazing. The Sweet Potato Ravioli is to die for! One of the best meals I've ever had. I recommend this to everyone!

Hands down!! the best restaurant in Barrie,,,, if you have not tried it yet, do it soon because it is getting harder and harder to get a table lunch or dinner!!

We visited the restaurant for our aniversary dinner. The lobster bisque is to die for. The rest of the menu is quite varied & reasonable. The service was excellent & Chef/Owner coming out to greet the patrons & enquire about their dining experience was a very nice touch. I wish only the best for this fine dining establishment. Cheers!!

Excellent food and service but have been twice on a Saturday during the lunch period and it was closed. Change your posted hours so we don't have to waste an hour drive again. Tks.

I have been to the Urban Dish twice and was so impressed with the food and the service. I particularly liked the Lobster bisque..........wooooeeee, so good.

The Urban Dish is a great new restaurant to come into Barrie. We have eaten there for lunch twice and the food and service is excellent. I think this is going to be a restaurant that will become one of the best restaurants in the area as the menu is varied and the prices are reasonable. The Pear, Stilton and Pecan salad is awesome.
We will definitely go back again.
